Moving Forward: Everyone Learns Differently Transitions to Non-Profit Status

Dear Supporters and Friends,

We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in the journey of Everyone Learns Differently: our transition into a non-profit organization. This decision marks a pivotal moment in our mission to advocate for neurodiversity and support those who learn differently.

Over the past four years, our scholarship fund has proudly awarded over $13,000 in scholarships to four exceptional students. We are immensely grateful to our donors, board members, volunteers, and supporters who have made this possible. Your unwavering commitment to our cause has been truly inspiring.

However, as we reflect on our impact and the evolving needs of our community, we recognize the pressing importance of raising awareness for neurodiversity on a larger scale. The journey towards inclusivity and understanding requires a more comprehensive approach that extends beyond scholarship distribution. Therefore, after careful consideration, we have made the decision to transition Everyone Learns Differently into a non-profit organization. This transition will enable us to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and advocate for change in education and beyond!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed board members who have played instrumental roles in guiding our scholarship fund:

  • Louis Cooper: Your extensive experience and dedication to community service have been invaluable in shaping our strategic direction and establishing Everyone Learns Differently as a scholarship fund.

  • Carol Mitchell: Your leadership in advocating for equity and justice has laid the foundation for our commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

  • Jinnie Horan: Your passion for serving others and your deep-rooted ties to our community have been a source of inspiration for us all.

  • Bryant Diggs: Your personal journey and resilience serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of embracing diversity and empowering individuals to thrive as you continue to live authentically.

As we embark on this new chapter, scholarships will be indefinitely on hold as we realign our focus and resources toward our broader mission. We remain steadfast in our commitment to championing neurodiversity and creating a more inclusive society for all.

We invite you to join us in this exciting journey as we work towards a future where everyone's unique way of learning is celebrated and supported.

With gratitude and anticipation,

Xavier Cooper
